The beautiful city of Florence was the backdrop for an exciting two-day kick-off meeting for the 'Up-cycling as green path for the artisanal self-entrepreneurship and professional training in the tailoring fashion sector project' (Fashion Up), held from January 31 to February 1. Partners from Greece, Italy, Portugal, and Poland gathered to officially launch the project and set the stage for the exciting journey ahead.

Getting to Know Each Other

One of the highlights of the meeting was the opportunity for the partners to get to know each other. With representatives from four different countries, it was an excellent chance to build strong working relationships and share our passion for the project. Each team brought unique insights and perspectives, making for a lively and engaging atmosphere.

Planning the Path Forward

During the meeting, we focused on laying a solid foundation for the Fashion Up project. We discussed the timeline, outlined the key milestones, and set clear goals that we aim to achieve. These include not only the technical aspects of the project but also our vision of driving innovation in the fashion industry while promoting sustainability and collaboration across borders.

The discussions were productive and full of energy, with everyone contributing ideas and strategies. By the end of the meeting, we had a clear roadmap in place, ready to guide us through the upcoming months of the project.

Looking Ahead

This kick-off was just the beginning! The next project meetings are already in the works, with plans to meet in Poland, Portugal, and Greece. These gatherings will help keep us on track and ensure continued collaboration as we work towards achieving our shared goals.

The final meeting, where we will wrap up the project and celebrate our accomplishments, is set to take place back in Florence. It feels fitting to return to where it all began, and we can’t wait to see the results of our hard work.

Stay tuned for more updates as we continue this exciting journey with Fashion Up!
