Polish Partners of the Fashion-Up Project Launch Training in Upcycling and Sustainable Fashion

ree

In October 2025, the Polish partners of the Erasmus+ project “Fashion-Up – Upcycling for Fashion and Sustainability” launched a series of practical training sessions dedicated to upcycling and the creative reuse of materials in the fashion and design sectors. Ten young participants interested in fashion, design, and sustainable living have begun their learning journey.

The main goal of the course is to develop practical skills, creative thinking, and environmental awareness among young people who wish to design fashion that is both socially and environmentally responsible. Participants are learning how to creatively transform and combine fabrics, design using reclaimed materials, and plan the entire production process according to zero-waste principles.

The training will continue until mid-December 2025 and will culminate in the presentation of three original fashion creations designed and produced by the participants. Each piece will reflect the core values of upcycling and sustainable fashion, combining innovative design with responsible use of resources.

These training activities are carried out within the framework of the Fashion-Up project, implemented in partnership with organisations from Italy, Portugal, Spain, Greece, and Poland. The project aims to develop a European educational toolkit (UpTraK – Upcycling Training Kit) and to promote sustainable practices in vocational education, particularly in the field of fashion and design.
